With the help of an incredible team, I was fortunate to build an agency to $10mm before we were acquired in 2021.  

Today, I do select consulting and I own two other privately held businesses, and have actively invested in several others, where I assist with capital, growth strategies, profitability, and creating enterprise value.

Who am I?

In 2009, I founded Techwood, a digital marketing agency. By partnering with a great team we grew the agency to 50+ people with $10mm in revenue before selling the company in 2021.
Along the way I learned quite a bit about what it takes to build a company that can scale beyond the predicable hurdles of $2, 5, and 10mm.

After we were acquired, I lead growth and integration at our acquirer, and was able to help us surmount the additional hurdles of $20mm and $40mm before exiting that business.

How I work today

I work with select companies to solve a few common problems, those being (a) getting over growth hurdles, (b) mapping out proven plans to scale, (c) and evaluating exit strategies and preparing for an exit.

I have also invested in select opportunities where I can see that the current business and team have a proven track record of taking good care of their employees, have smarts around P/L, and are in need of a strategic growth partner.
